Our voice and data links reach the whole world – from HF through VHF/UHF to satellite communication.

Getting licensed

We help you prepare for the amateur radio exam – with our own training sessions or by referring you to partners.

Building projects

Antennas, soldering, equipment modifications and digital modes: we share what we know about radio, electronics and operating practice.

Emergency communications

Blackouts and other emergencies call for alternative ways to communicate. Radio is one of them. More on emergency radio

Contesting

In a contest, the aim is to make as many contacts as possible within a set time window – competitive and great fun.

Out and about

We visit radio and technology events together and keep our members informed beyond the airwaves, too.

For everyone interested in radio

Interest in radio comes in many forms: from shortwave listening, CB and PMR to licensed amateur radio with its countless possibilities – across HF, VHF/UHF and all the way to satellites.

We offer a platform for everyone in Berndorf, the Triesting valley and the surrounding area. Visitors are always welcome, and information is free and without obligation.

  • Sharing knowledge of radio, electronics and operating practice.
  • Training for the amateur radio licence exam – including referrals to partners.
  • Building a simple emergency radio network in the Triesting valley.
  • Projects in MeshCom and DMR – next-generation amateur radio.

Member of ÖVSV: All our members are currently also members of the ÖVSV, the Austrian national amateur radio society. We work closely with its Baden district group (ADL 301). ÖVSV membership is not required to join TACB.
